Repeat the same Guardian unlock 18 times? Really?

Uhmmmm! I hate to mess with all your FDev bashing and all but.....took a quest to investigate as many Guardian sites as possible.....enjoyed it. Quite a challenge at times.

Nice introduction to a story. I did stop at some ruins during the search as well that bolstered it, since I never did complete the first mission. At least now they are easy to find. Hint: blue dots on Galmap

Saw some nice Braintrees did a little side exploring, got a lot of credits and got to appreciate some incredible sights and sites.
The Guardians are going to be worth watching soon.
All in all a good mission.

Wow! Shiney new toys to play with as well when I got back.

Sorry to interrupt.

Back to bashing, whining etc.

Even if this is a fun and interesting mission to do.

It's good once. Then what?

That's what i dont understand about Fdev. Why is so much effort put into single use content? Why does it seem like no effort is really put into the content that gets repetitively used?

Personally, i dont care about single use missions. Because i know they dont matter and can't matter because it's an online game where it's already been done by other players. So i dont bother. The grind of this particular mission doesn't even factor in.

Sometimes it's best to let temper tantrums die out on there own, so as to not encourage future behavior with reward.

Are you saying they found the move frustrating?

I take it you've never moved house...then realised you'd forgotten to tell the kids you'd moved? I got to the stage of leaving a 6 figure grid reference pinned to the front door just to see if my kids could work it out :)

Overwhelmed, maybe.

Have you been to any of the sites, explored on the way? Seems like a lot of effort to me.
And looks good!
They don't seem to be single use missions either, the pay isn't that great but it does pay and is rather interesting. Perhaps they are just encouraging us to get out of the bubble.
We have no idea what exactly is out there.

I'm still one of those absolute dreamers that every time I head out of the bubble, I drop into nice looking systems and still search the little moons and planets just hoping beyond reason that there may be...something. A shipwreck, an abandoned outpost or mining colony...anything at all.

It's a bit like me raking around my freezer looking for ice cream, I know there's none in there...but I still look.

You unlocked your new toys just by doing the Ram Tah, mission? How many modules/blueprint shards did you get in how many hours?
When did you do this, before or after they fixed the bug with the pillars giving out shards?

VJ gets in on the topic.. I always feel for the guys that review weapons/modules, when it comes to these things.

Indeed. Personally I find it a bit disappointing that in a 44 page long thread that's been largely constructive on what isn't liked, why, and ideas on what could be done, no one from FD has popped in to acknowledge it. Not talking about an agreement, or any detailed breakdown, but a simple acknowledgement of the growing feedback. After all, isn't that what a forum is partly for at its best?

I agree on the whole. But you do get the few nut jobs that are frothing at the mouth with the whole injustice of it.

You'll always get that in any thread, in the same way you'll get those who'll belittle other peoples objections, but we can agree the majority of the thread is constructive, and that should be engaged with.

You'd take out a lot of the increasing frustrations engaging earlier rather than later. Obviously they can't reply to every thread, but this is clearly a standout thread on something that's a bone of contention for some (whether people agree is another thing)
