Station: de Caminha Station(Orbis starport, large pads available, 366 Ls from main star, 21.31 Ly from Sol)​
Objective: Hand in Bounty Vouchers for the Earth Defence Fleet​
Time limit: 13th June 3310 @ 06:00 UTC​

Description
Jerome Archer requests assistance bounty hunting opportunistic pirates around De Caminha station.​

In an emergency conference held this morning, Archer had this to say:​
It pains me to see De Caminha be the target of attacks by criminals looking to take advantage of the Federation's continued efforts to end the war as quickly as possible, so I am calling on pilots across the galaxy for aid.

I urge you to hunt down the aggressors and supply the Earth Defence Fleet stationed in De Caminha with the medicines and equipment to prevent further attacks. Only by doing both will the station be safe again.

As a further incentive, the following rewards will be granted to pilots who meet the below criteria of handing in Bounty Vouchers:​
  • Top 50% of contributors:
    "Duty - Counter" paint job for the Federal Gunship​
  • Top 25% of contributors
    "Duty - Counter" paint job for the Federal Corvette, as well as the Federal Gunship​
The campaign begins on the 6th of June and will run for one week.​

To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Bounty Vouchers at de Caminha Station in the Lushertha system. Only Bounty Vouchers handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total. The Bounty Vouchers must have been awarded by either the system's controlling faction, or the major faction aligned with the system controller. ​

Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your bounty vouchers will be automatically assigned to them. These bounty vouchers will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these bounty vouchers when they are handed in. The proportion of bounty vouchers assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.​
​
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.​
​

  • De Caminha Station is located at planet A 1
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel
  • Nearest Interstellar Factors (with reasonable in-system cruise distances, other options are available but lots owned by local controlling faction):

I was getting excited, but this doesn't look like an ideal system for bounty hunting, at least not the way I normally do it. No Anarchy factions, and no ringed planets so no Resource sites. Time to see what's available in nearby systems.

There is a mistake in the goal description, on the part of Frontier—that faction name is actually Earth Defense Fleet. With that in mind, a quick Arena-only check using INTRA shows that Earth Defense Fleet owns LHS 224 nearby with a Hazardous RES close to arrival at A 1. If you want a CNB, try LHS 1809.

Additional: If you want to run missions at the same time, try 82 Eridani for RR Caeli with a Hazardous RES at around 800 Ls.

If it helps to deduce why, the missing difference is 1211733, which equals exactly the sum of your amounts for Far Systems Protectorate, Bureau of G 41-14 Liberty Party and The Terran Corporation. The entries which counted for your total seemed to be Earth Defense Fleet, Aetas Eternum, People's G 41-14 Progressive Party and G 41-14 Purple Travel Solutions!

Additional: The factions which counted are all Federation, and the missed factions are between Empire and Independent.

Additional additional: Based on that, perhaps try Okinura for hunting, at the Hazardous RES around 8 at ~1400 Ls? Okinura is owned by Earth Defense Fleet for the main bounty, and much Kill scanner bounty should be for four other local Federation factions! That said, if the proportion of local Federation factions matters more than perhaps LHS 229 would be a better arena.

Ah, thanks for deducing that math, I hadn't broken it down that far. I was in G 41-14 which has 4 fed factions in it total. Interesting, when did same-superpower-aligned bounteis start counting?

This evening I'll have to look for more EDF installations with pirate attacks and check out the other factions in-system.

I turned my bounties , made from a rez ssite, into a station ownded by earth defense forces but the bounty did not show to my contributions. DO you Need to turn it into

de Caminha? The Rez was at G 99-49. Then i turned it in to the local EDF station.
