report crime cops no more?

is it a bug or maybe i miss something, but in the last weeks cops no more spawning when you're interdicted, why? my 'report crimes' its ON of course.
Does the federal rank have anything to do with it?

Propably related to the bug that an attack on you isn't registered/doesn't mark the attackers red.

Pure speculation though

Maybe a bug as @Bigmaec suggests then.

It does beg the question what happens when someone shoots another clean player. Do they get a police warning / response?

Just a couple of days ago, I was bounty hunting in a RES and inadvertently landed a shot on a clean NPC. I immediately got the message and fine for assault.

Which is prob also related to fighters on "defend" never attacking anyone.
