Request for Private Group Admins

The elite community has many groups of players within it, Mobius being the largest of all.

I think that once a private group reaches a set number of players within it, e.g. 250 people, an option should become available for the group owner to set a small number of people as group admins.

The admins should have the power to accept requests, and report players to the owner for kicking.

I only suggest this as the current method of "account sharing" is against the game rules.

Yes, much needed feature. Perhaps something in the future with groups/fleets/guild/faction style like many MMO's have is in the works, but then fleet or whatever it is called has controls for group inviting integrated into as well.
 
good idea, but admins would need more power than that to cope with the larger groups, maybe not to ban people but certainly to suspend membership of the group until such time as the group owner can remove people. otherwise it can be difficult to react quickly to problems within a group.

another feature needed is a membership search function, it can be difficult to spot one name amid several hundred, or even a few thousand names in the case of the larger groups

That would be abused to high hell.

99-100% of people in this game cannot be trusted with that responsibility. This place, reddit, various forums and discords have proven that this community is too far toxic to be trusted with such features.

that may be your experience, but its not mine, besides the fact that i suggested the power to suspend, not ban someone from the group.
 
Considering that the Mobius group leader himslef once threatened a PvP player over LinkedIn to affect his career and some other threats, there's too much power handed to this PvE group as we speak.

Any player organisation of more than 5-10 people needs this feature. Player groups are generally not dictatorships. The group leaders also are not on 24/7. They will always need help to manage these things.

While they are at it, some real attention to player groups, private and open, is sorely overdue.

The ability to create a player group entity. Aka fleet/clan/guild.
Add group description
Choose/create group wide decal.(skin!?!?!?)
Nominte home system/faction. (cosmetic reasons only)

Add/remove players
promote/demote player (ranks?)
Create group chat rooms
Send group wide message.
Issue orders to members (text or gui-assist)
Share locations and routes.
Share cartographic information
Share trade data.

Just to name a few basics...

100% Agree. My Group already near 320 players mixed between Our Faction Players (about 180) and friends (about 140) who want play with us in the same "universe". Soon I really need some help in adminstration. Some weeks before I talk with the support about Clantags and they say they not want change anymore.

Yep - I'm really surprised FDev don't do this - it would solve a lot of problems and debates about having a PvE mode, instead they just hark on about some mythical 'Karma System' or 'crime & punishment changes' that never happen.
So can't solve the problem of balance (PvP players have massively engineered ships so non-PvP players don't stand a chance), they can't/won't solve the problem of griefers and can't/won't give us a PvE Mode, the very least they could do is make PG's manageable properly.
