I thought you get the money back from the construction ship?I've been bashing my calculatorand as far as I can make out a Coriolis station is going to cost:
314,981,438 Credits
(that's the materials after the initial 25 million)
I'm very capable of making mistakes in the ancient art of maths - but does that sound about right?

Correct. You get paid for all the items you deliver.I thought you get the money back from the construction ship?
Oh! I hadn't appreciated that.I thought you get the money back from the construction ship?
Get a large ship, will reduce trips to 1/3rd of that.I see others have done the calculation as well. Bought type 8 transporter to haul stuff, but I can fit like 280 units to it. coriolis station needs 70k of stuff if I calculated correctly. Thats 250 trips. If one is 10 mins, it's 41+ hours of just hauling stuff to get your station in 4 weeks done. I guess my station wont see daylight
Why didn't you start with an outpost? Much lower requirements. And if you don't want to use a large ship for hauling, I would suggest revisiting your Type-8 configuration, 280 tons is very little capacity for that ship.I see others have done the calculation as well. So If I understand correctly, the moral of this story is to stockpile materials on your carrier prior to making the big commitment.
Type8 doesnt cut it. Go for outpost first. That is half the mats. That way you can secure the system, if you have a great one. If not, better make some money so you can afford a Type9. It flies like a brick wrapped in lemons, but can haul over 750tons.I see others have done the calculation as well. Completely missing the point but I'll answer it anyway ... There's not enough price delta to get people to reliably haul from carrier to colony ship. It's only going to be yourself or people being relatively charitable doing that work.Does the colonisation ship not exist outside of solo?
No, at this rate you won'tGrind update:
There are two surface settlements within jump range (I'm right on the edge of the bubble), I've made 6 trips between them tonight and have collected 358 CMM
Excellent, I should have my first outpost built by this time next year
No, at this rate you won't
Protip: maybe look at surface ports that have a better refresh rate.
Server overload disagrees. Also shiny new ship for Arx!!!!! (soon™)FDev need to fix the CMM Composite thing ASAP, or Trailblazers will be a spectacular failure!
Server overload because everyone is on trying to find CMM - LOL!Server overload disagrees. Also shiny new ship for Arx!!!!! (soon™)
