Return from a 3 year absence...

I don't think GTA V led you to believe there would be significant enhancements.
Well, at the very beginning people did have hopes for some story DLC (like the two very good ones for GTA4), unfortunately R* decided to put all their effort into the Online part instead, i.e. where the monetisation possibilities were higher (even though I would've paid full fat prices for any story content). Though 5 years later nobody (I think) is under any illusions that the story mode will see any updates. Still a shame though as the sandbox remains to be top notch, and many parts of the map are underutilised in terms of story content.

I couldn't say it better myself: it's all in your mind.

This is what I mean when I say some players have an apple mentality, it's the constant shifting of issues in the product to some issue with the customer, be it incompetence, a "wrong mentality", misues, etc. Your keyboard gets reck in two years? Well you surely are clicking too hard. Your computer is slow? You are naughty boy and downloaded viruses. Your computer is overheating? You are demanding it too much.

What would be the opposite? An Amazon mentality? "No problem, just send it back."
I'll only say that some people operate in effective and some in ineffective modes.

Well, a faulty enough product should warrant a refund (hell, we even had one such thread last week), nontheless, your second sentence really is meaningless.

944 Hours...at what cost £29.99? £19.99? even if it cost £100 for the game that's still only just over 10p per hour. Price per minute played compared with 'finishing' other games in about 20 - 30 hours is still pretty good value to me. As a fellow BBC micro player and seasoned pensioner I am sorry you are hanging up your flight suit. I enjoyed doing passenger missions when they came in and actually got my explorer Elite rank without realising. I got to see some nice places as well, so not such a grind for me there. I do agree some things are very monotonous to get small rewards. I haven't done the Guardian stuff as I mostly play in the bubble with engineered ships so I don't see the need....yet. I am a bit worried about fleet carriers though, I cant see that a casual player like me (maybe 10 hours a week) will ever be able to afford one and keep it running. The attached image is only for people of a certain age!
