Return to Jurassic Park cannot restart missions

Played through to mission 5 in Return to Jurassic Park which I ended up failing. I read on here, you can restart missions in the “missions tab”, but there is no restart option. Can I restart this mission some how without having to waste all the hours played just to end up starting at the being of the dlc???????

What you can do is either load up a save file that saved wherever during the campaign, if you have any, or you can try to restart the whole campaign via the main menu tab.

I only have one saved file for the progress, and it auto saved after the mission failed. So...I gotta restart the ENTIRE DLC! Honestly, this makes me not want to play anymore. All the hours of work put into crafting my park only to have it come to stop. What a waste!

What exactly did you do to fail the mission? Because if I remember correctly, that mission is actually rather simple. Was there a “Mission Failed” pop up, or was it something that you messed up for your likings? If it was the latter, I could give you some advice.

During the Start a Tour part I got a pop-up saying one of the three species of requested dinosaurs had died before finishing the tour set-up. Which shocked me because I was in the process of getting the final one penned. I do not even know which one dinosaur died? Ever since this mission failed I have not had any new unlocks or restart mission option, the DLC comes to a complete stand still. All I can do seems to be restart the entire DLC which is a lot of work wasted. Do I really want to start all over? Not really.

If you reload your latest one, auto or manual, you can try to see where that mistake you made was and try to fix it the best you can before it starts.

If that dinosaur died from old age, keep in mind this way of death for the dinosaur isn’t at at a fixed time limit when they reach their maximum age, it’s always random when their maxed out age has reached, each time you load up a map. But never much too long when they do.

If you researched the binoculars, you can cover up much more visibility with a rotatable cone-shaped radius to make it easier to finish.
