I was going on my way with my usual boring trading route when i got interdicted by a CMDR with a Conda. Although this is not your usual pirate. This CMDR wanted to give me....

Bunnies.

Yes, bunnies and lizards. Cute defenseless Bunnies and lizards. At first i was not really sure what was going on. Maybe it was a trap or something. Maybe he was playing with me for then destroying me into pieces. But no harm came from that CMDR. He really wanted to give me Rare Goods. I asked him what kind of job he was doing in the game and he replied that he had founded a Reverse-Piracy company, Interdicting players to give them free stuff. I was carrying gold and wasnt to sure about taking those bunnies. I always thought that any cargo you pick up in space is stolen. But anyways i was full and passed on the occasion. I had a good laugh tonight and it shows what imagination can bring into this game.


I took screenshots of the encounter but unfortunately it didnt work as i forgot to open my fraps. I hope the CMDR in question will reply to this post and tell us more about this interesting new way to play the game :)

Dropped cargo isnt always classified as stolen, it depends on how its dumped.

Sounds like one hopping mad CMDR in any case, must have been a hare raising experience. :eek:

HA, yeah that was me. 47 Ceti has a bit of a bunny infestation. Hence, I try to find a home for them.

.....there are also kittens. But they seem to find homes faster than the bunnies and lizards.

I don't think that's what "reverse-piracy" means lol... this is called "charity" or "almsgiving"

Reverse-piracy is when you bait a pirate into robbing you and you rob them back :p

some rep for you sir for your kind deeds, may good karma always follow you, may the space pirates quake in fear when they see you coming, although chances are they will interdict the people you give the bunnies to because they like bunnies too apparently

Handing out bunnies and lizards to strangers. Now I've seen everything!

I kind of expect to see thick "Cheech & Chong" style smoke billowing out of the various Anaconda grilles. :)

i would say giving some one some thing is a gift but doing it in a way that causes irritation or inconvenience is a true anti mugging well done anti crimes are quite hard to perpetrate!

I just hope we see more unique characters out there like this. Sure you can have your station blockades around Lave, and pirates who reboot-station spam to get kills and all the other negative player types, that's to be expected.

But me? I'd like to see more crazy-ass anomalies like anti-pirates offering bunnies to people. Hopefully others will see this as an opportunity to think of something equally unique for themselves in the universe :D
