Rides that should be in the game...

Hey guys,

im not in the alpha hope you have indulgence with me when i repeat some existing ideas.

I think some interesting extensions of rides or new rides would be cool:

- Rafting (e.g. RiverQuest, Phantasialand or Fjord Rafting in Europapark)

http://www.freizeitpark-welt.de/freizeitparks/europa_park/fotos/2005/fjord_rafting02.jpg

- Log Flume Ride / Wildwater Ride (several, but made nice with Chiapas in Phantasialand)

http://data.whicdn.com/images/113434819/large.jpg

- A zylindrical lifthill for a compensating way to build a indoor Coaster (takes a lot less space)

- For 2/2 single train rollercoasters maybe an elevator?

- A super splash

http://www.europapark.de/sites/defa...h_1920_WI_AT_Europa-Park-12.jpg?itok=bhQcTnBl

- A wooden coaster

http://www.coasterfriends.de/forum/...holzachterbahn-gci-europa-park-1328615820.jpg

- A basic pattern for a indoor ride (those with animatronics and scenes), in the beta people do this actually (i saw this very often on youtube) with flat lifthill patterns

###### Other suggestions #####

- I saw a lot of so wonderful themeparks which are made with Planet Coaster on Youtube and it would be very nice when the theme park visitors could move on created paths, places and not only on the fixed paths.

- More realistic environment (in settings or some maps, maybe also for a campaign-mode/storymode) > like a near city, forest around the park (it looks nearly empty on each content i saw), parking spaces around the park

OR

- a possibility to create an existing environment around the normal theme park ground.

- Custom music

- Research / Campaigns / Events

- Hotels?

- More models for a coaster like a Top Spin, there is only a machine punk like version. But it would be cool to have alternatives to fit in more szenarios. A top spin with a maya temple layout, with the steampunk, with pirates eg. or a more plainer version to edit this.

Not everything has to be there for free, some parts could be a DLC or Addon ;-)

There are several things of this list that will be available in Planet Coaster at final release, but we have yet to learn about the details about them. We will learn more about those in the upcoming livestreams and posts on the forums and other official channels;
- Wooden coasters
- Campaigns

Other items have not (yet) been announced. Stay tuned. [big grin]

A few coaster types that can make or slightly break the game for me are those older steel coasters. While B&M, Gerstaluer, and Intamin are cool and all, some parks may lack that personality and history behind them without these.

-Schwarzkopf Loopers: my personal favorite type of coaster purely due to how simple yet forceful their layouts can be. And they come in so many styles. The shuttle loop is a big one, cheap and takes up little space. The 3 tubed track style is also pretty common found mostly on movable rides. The 2 tubed track style and the box-track are rather rare (only 2 of each that I know of), but one thing to be sure to do right is the box loop supports. It ain't a Schwarzkopf without them.
-Arrow/Vekoma Mine Trains: Another absolute classic. You can rarely enter an amusement park without a mine train. Perfect ride type to fill the family coaster niche.
-Arrow Suspended: These are unique and rather rare coasters to find and one of Arrow's most ingenious designs. This one would be quite a challenge to add in though so I don't really expect it.
-Wild Mice: One of the more numerous designs with many different types. This can provide players with a cheap filler coaster.
-Vekoma SLC and Boomerang: I've never liked these metal concussion machines, but these designs are very recognizable and may, again, provide cheap filler to a park.
-Bobsled Coaster: Another favorite of mine and an extremely rare coaster type. Just like the Arrow Suspended, however it would be difficult to get working.

These are just the few I can think of off the top of my head. There may be quite a few more I'm forgetting, but these are the important ones.

The major problem i see with most of your suggestions: Most of those designs are quite rare. The same Problem occured with RCT 3 where you had 100 different coasters, but only used a dozen of them.
The Coasters i personnaly find senseful to intigrate are the following:

- Schwarzkopf: Together with Arrow propably of the most iconic manufacturer. Very unique look and sound.
- Vekoma SLC: Even though a feared coaster, it is very common. Since there are already similar trains in use, the only thing to change would be the track and the alignment of the wheels.
- Wilde Mouse: Pretty common and standard,
- Powered Coaster: Nothing special but not too rare
(- Wooden Coasters: Already worked on, so i guess we will get them for sure)
- Vekoma MK-900: Not that common, but not rare either. Maybe with a classic and a modern train to allow the rebuild of older and the new Vekoma Coasters.
- Custom MK-900 Mine-Train. Also, not the most common design, but very popular due to Disney.
- Mack Mega-Coaster: Getting pretty popular right now, either with launch or with a lifthill. Maybe add the Big-Dipper car for a an additional coaster-type.

That combined with the ability to build some (or all) of them as a Boomerang should pretty much be enough for 95% of the coasters out there.
Pretty important in my opinion: More cars per Coaster Type (Especially since some cars on the same track make it a different coaster type) and a LSM-Launch for most of the models, as the manufacturers tend to launch pretty much every coaster type now (except for the wild mouse - yet).

As Kinderly mentioned these would be hard for Frontier to create but I would love to see the Arrow Suspended & Bobsled Coasters! [yesnod]

It would be nice to have the following coasters in the game:

Mack Launched Coaster
Mack Spinning-Coaster
Mack Youngster-Coaster
Water Rides (Log Flume, Splash Boats, Water-Rollercoaster)
Mad Houses
Ghost train (endless cars like in Haunted Mansion)
Shows
Cinema
Bobsled-Coaster
Wild Mouse etc.

I also hope they have something like a Polar Express / Music Express style ride that allows us to build / customize the building and theme. I have seen so many great suggestions in this thread since starting to play the alpha months ago. I can't wait to see what they unleash on us on the 17th with full release! :D

I would like ...
GIANT INVERTED BOOMERANG by Vekoma

Drop Combo Tower (S&S power)

1. Chairlifts
-transport rides in general people will actually ride despite the low excitement and fear ratings

2. Bigger, Grander Carousel

3. Schwarzkopf rollerocaster

4. Backwards lift for like Boomerang

5. Drop Tracks

6. Options to choose different cars on rollercoasters

7. More realistic brakes, and shorter length trim brakes (especially on B&M tracks)

A lot of good suggestions here, especially the first. Those are almost a staple in classic parks! (Maybe even a gondola type of lift ride, though, those are more rare). A lot of people have been making custom chairlift type of rides (Silvarret comes to mind), and then others picked up on the idea.

Anyway, I'd do anything to see a Chance Double Inverter in this game (we had it with RCT3, but its pacing was completely ridiculous (way too fast). I just find these rides to be extremely photogenetic in the right conditions. They offer an intermediate thrill experience and fit in just about any type of park (small-scale, more catered towards families, even larger-scale parks for thrill-seekers).

I would like to see a Sommerodelbahn (pardon spelling) in the game.

It appeared in RCT3 as the "Alpine Coaster," in case you don't know what I am talking about.

I just have one simple request... Double Ferris Wheel. It's a simple design but classic ride for carnivals and amusement parks

Yeh pls with just single maine cart or mouse carriage

Wild Mouse coaster with mine cart trains.

Pls just add an extra cart type to the spinning coaster of either a single fixed mine cart or single simple mouse cart. Mine & wild mouse rides can them be created. Does not need a whole new type of coaster just additional single carts.
