Rides that should be in the game...

We are all stating our points and ideas.

And actually i am sure Frontier knows exactly by now which rides will make it into the game.

The key will be to have a good, broad range of detailed rides (which they already have), while keeping options open for DLC further down the road. This is a long-term game, not a one-hit wonder. Best, R.

A flat-ride that I saw today, that I would really apprechiate, is HUSS's Fly Away. (See, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh_9VRgjctw). Looks like a lot of fun! With some, light, theming, this could be a great attraction within Planet Coaster.

I would love to see a SwissBobRun:

I'd love to see water rides / log flumes / river rapids that can interact with rivers / lakes in the terrain.... Like real log flumes and other water rides!

Like in Parkitect at the moment! [big grin]

In RCT3 in order to get real looking river rapids rides you had to use CS. I hope in Planet Coaster we can have this without resorting to the use of CS props and canals.

Why are log flumes always so slow in these games? They always come to a crawl after a drop where in real life they have a nice steady flow where you're boppin' into the sides.

Let's hope they speed it up a bit this time or better yet let us adjust the current. Because log flumes make great dark rides.

I've been on real log flume rides that the log does slow up considerably for a brief instance (almost to a stop, depending on how much water resistance you meet with at the bottom of the drop) after a drop and then reverts back to the regular speed.

I would love a lot of flat rides and kid related rides so I can build a fun kids section!

Tilt-a-whirl
Bear Affair!!! These are the bears that you get inside and spin. They can have it where you can change it to different animals or characters.
Slingshot
Thunder Bolt
Gravitron
The giant slides you ride down in mats. (I know this is a fair ride and not an amusement park ride..)
The Scrambler (always been a favorite of mine!)

I also think that they should have the carnival style games where you win prizes and can set the winning ratio like balloon darts, ring toss, ect. I know theme parks who also have carnival style games and it could be a fun addition!

For roller coasters I would like to see a bobsled style coaster and a gold rush style coaster where you are in mine carts.

They should bring back the haunted houses which were also included in rollercoaster tycoon 3 in which you could make your own haunted houses

Right. If you mean the slow, dark ride that has a track, this ride will definately be in the game. We have already seen concept art of the cat, magic themed cars.

Here's some rides that would be great in game:
A generic motion simulator (I'm showing star tours because it is a high capacity simulator)

Also the omnimover:

Also these would make great dark ride vehicles:

The one on the left is like the sea world penguin attraction and the one on the right is a generic version of Universal's Spiderman and transformer rides.
The one on the left is also a trackless vehicle which seems to be the new trend with dark rides.

And speaking of trackless vehicles:

The world of dark rides these days....

As a side note, here is the "themed" version of the oceaneering dark ride vehicle on the right:

I personally prefer this more curved design, but either way, the themeing should be generic so as to be versatile.

And both of the modern vekoma corkscrew trains:
