RIDES.....

Planet Coaster doesn't have animals, I don't get why you're so against it, it'd keep the majority of communities happy rather than the minority like yourself.
It is definitely not a majority. And I'm against it because the point of the game is animal welfare, that is why the animals have so many needs down to the percentage of terrain, so how is a coaster flying overhead supposed to promote their primary message of animal welfare?

Because there is an entire game for you to make theme parks in, the focus of this game is entirely on the animals as Frontier have said many times. If you want to build a roller coaster with animals around it you can already do that in PlanCo.
How can I build Busche Gardens with Real Animals in Planco then Please?

Because a coaster WOULDNT fly overhead or the Noise happyness levels would be though the floor and youd have protestors, Jeeze I dont know a single Zoo with rides that have "A coaster flying overhead" They do have seperate areas you know?

Bruh if you're gonna separate the coasters from the animals then why do you need the coasters in the game at all?

Oh, joined yestersay... OK, so you can't really speak for the community that I've been chatting alongside with for the past 5/6 years.

I joined yesterday to make a post on this, just because I don't post doesn't mean I haven't been reading the forums.
To make real life parks... Or are you blind to the fact we've said that many times already?
The game is called planet ZOO, it is entirely about the animals. Maybe one day they will merge the two but this is the successor to Zoo tycoon, not roller coaster tycoon 3 where you could have them both.

you are making no sense at all, Zoos HAVE RIDES, regardless of your eithics

This is a zoo in Arizona. If you look at this map you can clearly see that there is a Carousel, Log Flume, Train Ride, Safari Ride, Sky Ride, Family Rides, and even a Family Coaster.

this looks like a great zoo to try and recreate or use as a plan for the game...except that the rides would have to be excluded. I see there is a boat ride and a zip line as well.

Actually, after looking into this zoo a bit more...basically looks like chain link enclosures with little shade in the hot desert and nothing to enrich the animals. Probably not a good zoo to replicate.

Most of the zoos in America with rides don't care about animal wellfare. Also, if you want rides, then go play planet coaster, or not buy this game. No one is forcing you to buy this game to be honest.

Thats almost as childish as me saying "Don't like what we have to say? Go to a different forum, or don't browse this one" anyway, this part of the forum is called wishlists, if it's on Coasterlover's wishlist to have rides, who are you to say what he should/shouldn't have on his wishlist? It's his list, not yours.

Noisy rides and people screaming does have an impact on animal welfare, this includes stress levels, life spans, visibility, mood and whether they would perform natural behaviors or not.. sorry! Volunteered at a zoo for 10 years (I was 15, now in my 20’s) and let me tell you, the more nervous animal species were almost constantly hiding, then, things changed and loud rides which would inevitably have people screaming were removed, and the zoos main focus turned to conservation.

Sure, we had smaller rides and we even have a small water park, however loud roaring noisy rides were taken away.

The difference is night and day.

understand that the majority of zoos who have large amusement areas aren’t as focused in the “teaching people about animal welfare and conservation” aspects. They do not contribute very much to the breeding programs and reintroduction programs, they may do it, yes, but it’s not the same as a park that has a smaller “rides” area that avoids sounds that would otherwise distress an animal, and that is reflected in the work they do.

Having an opinion is fine, but don’t confuse it with facts :)

At what point during this topic has anybody confused facts with opinions?
