Rigged, not rigged, who cares? It's a game we've all paid good money for so why not enjoy what it's offering?
It's also the first bit of story we've been able to get involved in for ages, whether or not you have any love for the Empire or the outcome is pre-determined stuff is happening again after a REALLY long break.
If you don't want to join in then don't, but I guarantee I'm having way more fun with my (just short of) 50mil of combat bonds and 400mil of Massacre profits than you are by sulking

✌I'm honestly still surprised it says that every time I come back to hand in Combat Bonds...I'm sure there's better pilots out there.
These Combat CGs have been great for tweaking my CZ Ship design & tactics though, so maybe I'm "gitting gud"?

✌If I look at a CG and see a 1:2 or more discrepancy with equal goals for each, I don't feel like I can do anything, the community already decided. No point spending my time against impossible odds. Which is clearly how it went with the previous CG, you could see the discrepancy only getting bigger and bigger.
If I look at a CG and see 15% vs 15% or something similar like that, I do feel like I can go out there and try to shift it, and so I have been. I've never went for top 10 in a CG before and just settled for top 50% which would be average, but this motivated me to keep going for it, and here I am fighting for what I believe in-game... and for multiple days. This is as political as a game can be, especially since there are no shiny bribes for either side.
I hope to see more CGs like this one, rather than ones that are decided on the first day.
