^This right here is the best one. Totally custom, and you can generate truly massive lists.
And... Each list generated has a unique URL, so you can bookmark the list and close, and re-open the page later.

For instance Ophydre's famous Backyard Billionaire (BYB) serving the same purpose.
In all cases we are talking about a selection of high value exploration systems which if you scan them the first time provide a high payout.
Should you consider taking the R2R or BYB there are two common ways to take them.
First - you do it occasionally and always a few systems and hand in the data (works well with other stuff cause the systems are not far away from the core systems).
Second - you do all in one row. If the latter I recommend to pledge to Li Yong-Rui at the end and rank up to rank 5. After you have supplied the 10.000 foritication merits the next powerplay cycle you will become rank 5 and can benefit from its 200% exploration bonus.
Base scan of BYB for instance yields you about 330-340m credits. Combined with LYR rank 5 bonus it will get you 1 bn (that's why BYB).
Also - either method - after having handed in all data you will for sure have reached exploration Elite rank.

If you are afraid of being attacked - play in Solo or PG.
On top - gankers would have to have a lot of time in order to monitor a few 100 systems and hoping for an explorer - whether noob or not - to show up.
In reality you will be pretty alone when taking any of these routes.
Even in open.

If you do do a road to riches, Install EDMC and HAB Zone Plugin It will tell you which bodies are worth scanning the RTR list i did had just ELWs and some others listed, It missed out on a whole lot of Terraformables and Ammonias very close to the main star.
Same like R2R just another route with other systems to scan.

Maybe so. It could be under the new system, discovered and scanned system bodies stay discovered. Or if another cmdr jumps into the system, there could be a notification it was scanned already, and the data needs to be bought from the map mode or freely loaded from the nav beacon if there is one, or system has to be re-scanned but for no reward for already cataloged scanned bodies in the universal cartographics this time.
