I found out last night that Rob Holdstock - author of The Dark Wheel - is seriously ill in hospital, apparently with an E. coli infection. His condition is described as stable, according to Ansible which seems to be keeping updates going at the top right of the screen.
Quite a shock, especially considering I met him at the Elite gathering in Nottingham recently and he seemed fine. Nice guy as well, let's hope he recovers fully.
