I don't know. It seems there is a large playerbase who do not like this style of play. It seems to be causing undue grief on them by playing the way we like to play.

I was just taking a jab at the amount of long range smuggling taking place at the moment, since the OP tried to approach this with logic. Long range smuggling doesn't make much sense right now; at 500k transportation cost for a single slave (or whatever it is depending on your trade rank), we'd all have to be carrying Princess Leias or something, which by the way, must have all been attending the same Star Wars convention in Robigo, since I can't explain to myself how they got there in the first place.
Not pertinent to Robigo, but some of the Imperial stations that offer these kinds of missions offer a specific one where you haul slaves as part of a sting operation, to help trace where they are going.
But yeah, for the most part, agreed. It would make more sense to be hauling slaves TO robigo and similar systems, rather than from. Unless you are helping them escape a life on the frontier?
