Of course it's relevant. It's a bug that probably hasn't been addressed, like many that have been around since beta. It's an example of what is described.

Like I said. Mission reset would suffice, and I would consider that compensation. Compensation doesn't have to be monetary, after all.

It was just a normal cargo run. There was no 'Robigo' back then. Turns out, a lot of CMDRs were insta-blowing-up early last year. Didn't occure to me to claim at the time because I thought I had done something wrong.

It doesn't occur to a lot of people. A lot of the posters here lead you to believe that writing a ticket is somehow wrong of you, though. That is where my problem lies.

Ignoring the facts, now, are we? It was due to a mistake by the developer. Essentially, he got cheated out of it. Asking for assistance should not be met with ridicule. They are accountable.

Hyperbole much? If I'm unsatisfied with something, I ask for it to be fixed. It's part of being a paying customer. Luckily, this stuff is rare. However, it does happen. Thanks for the ad hominem, as well.

Seems to me a lot of folk have totally missed the point (whether Error realises it or not). Said point being, insta-interdictions, and being scanned whilst in a docking bay are bugs.

Just because YOU don't like smuggling, and just because YOU aren't affected doesn't make it any less of a bug..

If one does not like shadow missions, one should avoid doing them. If one does not like PvP, or Hares zone farming, or exploration... One should avoid said activities. Seriously, there is no reason to hammer down so hard on someone for asking about compensation for a bug, when there really is a bug.

I don't think any compensation is due, either, however, I'd like the bug squished.

And no, insta-scans and being scanned whilst docked do not make smuggling harder. They simply make it annoying. A high speed run on the Nurburgring in a highly tuned sports car is hard.

Driving in a strait line with poorly aligned front wheels and a flat tyre is not so much hard, but annoying, and due to something being broken - which is the case here.

I don't normally highlight autocorrect errors but I just wanted to thank you for the delightful mental image that conjured up, of an asteroid field full of floating bunnies being hoovered up by spacecraft. I would knock up an image, but the way this thread is going I fear it may be locked by the time I'd be ready to post it.

He want a few people ridiculous demand of compensation to be accepted even in the case of players using an exploit to get more missions than intended.

We want FD to fix both bugs for everyone instead.

I recently failed a bunch of Robigo missions (only delivered one, went to the next station in the same system and got insta-scanned to fail about 7 more)

Selling the remaining slaves on the BM made up for about 3x the fine incurred, so the only thing I 'lost' was some Robigo rep

Sure I could have made millions more, but until the mission is marked as complete it means nothing to my fincances.

Also quickly gonna massivly derail this and say I hear nobody here wanting pirates to be compensates whenever they get logged on.
