So... according to the settings menus, the "Role" panel is the one in the center that is activated by pressing 3, that allows you to change your loadouts, disembark in your SRV or on foot, and so forth.
I have my game set up so I can use my mouse to look around freely. As part of this, I set my options so that when I look toward where the various popup panels are located, they DO NOT pop up unless I actually press the relevant number button (eg. Navigation is on the left panel, accessed by #1). This is how it's always worked for me.
Since Odyssey launched, I cannot get the Role panel to NOT pop up, even though I set my options for that. This is bothersome because it makes it difficult to look DOWN when searching for bacterial colonies.
Is there a way I don't know about to set things so that panel will not pop up until I actually press the "3" button?
