RCT 3 PC RTC3 Platinum DOWNLOAD NIGHT LAG Fixed!

Hello,
I have been reading forum after forum and googling for days after buying the download platinum version of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 on a high end system and getting the dreaded NIGHT LAG...

Here is what i did to fix it.....

1. Browse to your Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Installation directory
Mine was "D:\Games\Roller Coaster Tycoon 3"

2. Locate "RTC3plus.exe"
3. Copy and paste it into the same directory for a backup.

4. Go here..... http://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7

5. Simply extract the "RTC3plus.exe" into the same place i listed above where your original was that you copied and choose OVERWRITE or REPLACE if asked.
Mine was "D:\Games\Roller Coaster Tycoon 3\"


6. PLAY!!!!! SMOOTH AS SILK

It worked for me, i don't know why it wouldn't for anyone else! :)

can anyone else confirm this? im having the same problems but i dont want to do anything that will screw up my game :)

EDIT: tried, doesnt work. After updating the RCT3 Plus file with the wild patch it ask's for the game CD in order to play. Nice try tho ;)

Same issue here. If you purchased online from Atari and used DigitalRiver download delivery this patch won't work.

I'm showing version v3.2.8.13 on the RCT3plus executable. Is that the final release for RTC 3 Platinum?
