Running Two Accounts (Two copies of the game)

Without thinking ahead, I registered on Epic and used my normal day-to-day email address. That normal email address is also registered with Frontier as my first copy of the game ( I have two , currently playing the second). Downloaded Epic's Elite Dangerous (20GB), launched it and ended up in my Anaconda from my first copy of the game. So definitely do not use an existing email address that is registered with Frontier.

I went back to the Epic store, changed my email address to a gmail account that is unknown to Frontier, registered that on the Frontier store and now I'm getting "Please purchase/redeem Elite Dangerous to continue"

I think I've cocked this up up completely . . . . I've raised a ticket for this but I won't blame Frontier if they come back with user stupidity !!
If you played the Epic version for less than 2 hours you should be able to return it. Then get another free copy and link it with the new Frontier account.
