Astronomy / Space Russia is about to detach their modules from ISS?

According to Russian sources, Russia might decide to take their modules from ISS and basically, shut down the station because -apparently- it can't be operated without the Russian built parts. Reason is that Russia wants to build their own new orbital complex, presumably Mir-2, and they need these modules. Of course, it's hard to imagine that the latest political tensions didn't play their part as well.

I believe this has been planned for a while (I think 2009); since before that last Russian module was even attached to the ISS.
