S Class weapons and equipment. Would ya?

Would you buy S class weapons and equipment if it came with extreme risk and requires a lot of power?
Example: Beam laser that overheats and damages itself, but its extremely powerful.
FSD with very long cool down and damages itself.

Thoughts?

Maybe, but I think it would be bad for PvP.

Only if it would let me one-shot a capital ship.

After doing that once for giggles, I would sell it rather than fix it.
