Sag A* trip, How much was your data worth?

As an aside, here, does that with the slider work with fastest route plotting? So I could use it to get a half-and-half between speed and economy by telling it to plot as though the hold was half full?

Yes, but depending on the size of your cargo rack, it might not have much effect.

Tested it earlier. I've a couple of empty slots in my current explorer setup so I can shift the jump range the plotter uses by up to 64t worth. It adds two whole jumps to a 1000ly run. Which will be an extra hundred systems on the voyage I'm doing over the next few days. Worth doing, but not so very worth doing that I make absolutely sure to remember doing it.

I should imagine an exploraconda with a lot of empty space inside would get more play out of it, though.

Kinda leaning off topic but this is interesting to me.
Allitnil how much did you scan those 14k systems?
I tend to scan a lot and I'll be at 14k systems in about a week; and I have 6 more months to go.
I have several hundred TC water worlds and High metal worlds in the bag and almost 1k neutrons / 500 WD stars.
I'm holding a ton of data. I decided 18 months is my limit. beyond that I'm pushing my luck and fate too far.
What do you think?

I scanned all but a handful of the main stars. For much of the trip I was also scanning all the close MR and HMC worlds, all the ELWs, many WWs and CFTs. But I also did around 2,500 neutron stars and black holes which boosted things quite a bit.

With the current payout levels I would hazard a guess that your final payout will be in the region of 500 - 600 million.
