I want to add that I did this in an imperial courier that is not optimally outfitted for travel (combat ready among other things. Yeah, I know, but I feel naked without proper shields and weaponry and a vehicle hangar -- which is heavy relative to a courier's weight considerations -- is sort of a necessity just in case.) Obviously I'm not the first to do this, but it's still a bit of a pain.

I was there in Open, and realized a few hours later that i had a contact pop up about the time i was in Sag A*. Wish i had seen it in the moment, it would have made a good souvenir picture

CMDR Loboncka - 24th August 3304
After 25 days of mission time and 33 342 LY distance covered, today finally arrived to the center of out galaxy.
Starting out from LHS 6309 in the bubble, stopped az Hillary Depot (BLU THUA AI-A C14-10) and Amundsen Terminal (Lagoon Sector NI-S B04-10) for repairs. This was the point when I realised it was a mistake not having an AFMU, so decided to head to Colonia.
Now I'm heading back to the bubble to prepare for DW2.

I added CMDR Marshall Gibson to the Sag A* visitors list this morning before I learned of his sad passing.
CMDR Gibson travelled far in this Galaxy and I am sure his journey is not yet done, so I'll say again my words from before:

Picked up a mission to fly even further than this with a rich tourist from within the Pleiades Sector, travelled the Neutron Highway until I ran out of AFMU ammo, and I've been humping it using Roads 2 Riches and 43 ly jumps for the last 10 kLy. It's been a mission so far. Now I need to decide if I hump it the next 9 kLy to my destination and then 15 kLy to Colonia to repair, or take an easy stroll back to Colonia now, and then come back pretty much through Sag A*. I have another 2 W 5 days for this mission, so if I go back, it's going to be close to the deadline, but if I don't, I'm still out of AFMU refills and can't repair anything. Choices, choices. This should get me Elite in Exploration as I've been ADS'ing everything on the way, and I'm still not there yet, let alone back.
