I would like to share my setup for Saitek Cyborg F.L.Y. 5.
Everything you need for playing is on joystick (two hands).

I got my FLY 5 stick today (Just as Braben was talking about external peripherals xD), I installed the software needed, but I cant see how I can import that .binds to the software, It does not recognize it. Any ideas?

This is mappings for Elite. You need to put them to:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings\

and change name to custom.binds

Hello! I download your binds and put it on the folder mentioned. But how i activate it in the game?
I don´t see a Custom profile selection inside the game.

Any help!

Worked way better then the configuration software that came with the joystick!

FYI: You might want to start by closing Elite Dangerous, closing the Fly 5 "Profiler" and Profiler Editor" first (You probably won't be using them anymore).

Don't forget to rename your original "custom.binds" to something like "custom.binds.bak" and rename the downloaded "Custom --- fly5.binds" file to "custom.binds".

I've just registered to ask you about the Fly 5.

Does it worth for buying? Is there any Pros and Cons?

Could you re-upload of the picture of your repaired fly 5 joystick. My button 2 has broken.

Thanks for the great setup. I made my own version based on this with some small modifications. Will probably edit this a bit more when I log some more flight hours.

How do I map the "shift" button ingame to map other keys with two functions?
Do I have to set it ingame in the options for key layout or with the profile manger for the joystick?

I need some help please I have no idea how to proceed, can someone give me a detailed description or share the config files?

Hey,

I'm having trouble with the .binds file in this post. When i load it up in game it doesn't seem to be recognising anything in the text file and i'm basically getting an empty preset page.

any idea about this? or if the CandyCloud can link there .binds file that would be awesome

When editing your buttons, just keep the so called shift button pressed while pressing another button.

I've added support for the FLY 5 to the reference sheet generator, which should make sharing configurations a bit easier. Please try it out at the link in my sig and let me know if there are any problems with it.

Sorry for the thread necromancy but I can't find any updated profile for this joystick that works with the srv.

I like this profile a lot but need to be able to drive the srv and the configuration I've tried to map myself does not work.

Anyone got this profile with srv set up?
