I've been playing around with SPAD.neXt and started to develop a profile for Elite: Dangerous using the Pro Flight Switch and Multi panels. At the moment it's pretty simple but does the following:
Master Battery - Deploy Hardpoints and lights up the AP light
Avionics Master - Galaxy Map. I didn't know the default key so used CTRL-G
Fuel Pump - System Map. Again I didn't know the default so used ALT-G
Cowl - Deploy cargo scoop and lights up left landing gear red
Pitot Heat - Silent Running and flashes APR and REV on Multi Panel
Landing Lights - Ship Lights and lights up right gear green
Gear Up and Down - Ship Landing gear and lights up gear nose green
There are few rules to follow before starting the game due to it purely being simple key presses:
All switches to off EXCEPT Cowl - to allow "Close" to mean cargo scoop retracted
Landing Gear to "Gear Down" - At this point the nose light should glow green.
I've turned off the option to deploy hardpoints on fire in the options otherwise it gets in a mess!
The Virtual Power needs to be turned on in Spad otherwise the lights don't work on the Multi Panel
I've also turned off the notifications in SPAD.neXt to stop the annoying Simconnect messages!
I'm really new to both SPAD.neXt and the panels so if anybody knows a better way to implement this or any other tips then I'd love to know.
The xml file should be placed in the Documents\SPAD.neXt folder.
