Salland's Adventure Zoo

The last part of the apartment complex has been built. A fast food chain will be built in the area below this part of the apartment complex.

I also made an entrance for the shopping center behind the apartment complex. I did this because you see too much background between the two buildings. There are also a number of stores under the apartment complex. I don't know a name or function for one store. That is why I thought that this store is being renovated.

I absolutely love it. I wish I would be such a talented Builder. I like the Possibility of escaped Animals roaming around in the City instead of just running around on the Zoo Grounds. Is this in Sandbox-Mode? If it is Sandbox, you could build a Bus Stop and put the Guest Spawners there so the People walk trough the City to reach the real Zoo-Entrance

Thank you. Everyone has their own style, if you can find that in yourself or put a lot of time into it. Then you will certainly grow while building. This is in Sandbox mode. We have the same idea. I already planned to make a bus station but also a train station.

Looks awesome! I am wondering if the game is still able to run the save when you finally get to the zoo part.
thank you. So far I have no problems with frame drops. I am still at around 60fps.

Because I made some youtube episodes in advance. I updated the map with new objects from the new DLC South America Pack.

1. I use the new flowers as flower weeds on the map.
2. I used the Bamboo objects to make power cables for the construction site. You can see it lying between the grass / weeds.
3. I turned the water into cloudy water.
4. The chimneys have more details. And I also made a smaller ventilation exhaust.
5. The devices in the foreground have now a cable duct.
6. The balconies are now made of glass. And I also change the wood of the fence.

Because the tunnel is longer than 250 meters, Is it mandatory by Dutch law to provide emergency exits and equipment for fire fighting. Think of a fire hose or fire extinguisher.
The tunnel is also equipped with AEDs.

Even though it's a relatively simple Design, I really like this Tunnel 🙂
The small Details like the Fire Extinguisher are great

That's right, it is indeed a relatively simple Design. This also has to do with the fact that tunnels are very expensive to build. So the city / province has decided to construct a tunnel as cheaply as possible. I'm also very happy with the smaller details. Especially that you can see the fire hose and fire extinguisher through the glass.

Thank you for the nice comment 😀. I hear / read that a lot of people suffer from no inspiration in the game. Fortunately, I still have some buildings to go before I can start the zoo.

The tunnel has now a ventilation system. The lighting on the wall is created by a light artist. The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that the lighting on the ceiling does not give enough light on the road. When I start with the road marking, I also tackle this problem.

Oh it's very annoying. I have plenty of ideas for habitats, layout, all of that sort of thing, but I'm absolutely stuck when it comes to doing buildings, a zoo entrance, toilet blocks, and so on. Part of my problem is as well that occasionally I'll decide to just go basic so I can at least get started, but when inspiration later hits me I end up not being happy with the earlier work and end up not having the room to change things.

maybe you can get inspiration when you look at buildings in real life zoos. My step-by-step plan is always the same.

1. Search on Google for a building / habitats for inspiration for your zoo.
2. Create a basic layout. (I usually use the concrete wall set).
3. Then build the building with the correct walls and roofs.
4. Then detailing the building, such as lighting and smaller objects.
5. Finally, plant trees, flowers and shrubs.
