is it possible to turn off dinosaurs needing status checks? if not sandbox is really disappointing.

Generally, no, but if you do a Status Check once and make sure all their needs are covered in their enclosure, then you could just remove the Ranger Post and they should remain comfortable.

Jens, in Sandbox it would be great to have the option to turn off status checks. Otherwise, you can't make Site B style parks because you have no way of monitoring the dinosaurs.

Yeah sure, they'll remain comfy if everything is static but the symbol for checks will always be hovering over them. It's a cool mechanic to apply ranger teams more effectively than the first game but sandbox isn't the place for it especially if we can turn on or off their comfort setting at will. We know they are comfy, WE COMMAND IT, but are still reliant on rangers, and thus need an other building built, to get rid of the symbols.
