Sandbox mode without unlimited money?

Hello,

Does anyone know if you can play Sandbox mode but without unlimited money? I'd like to build a park with funds I have to make without playing Career mode.

Thanks :)

this is basically Challenge mode.

Does challenge mode have all rides and facilities unlocked though or do you still need to research them? If it's the latter, then can we please have a sandbox mode with limited money?

EDIT: Just loaded challenge mode and the rides and facilities DO need research---- so it's not really a sandbox mode.

So, can we please have a limited sandbox mode (a tick box for limited/unlimited funds in sandbox when we start please like "another" game has)

Thanks

This is why I asked for a scenario editor in another thread so we can make our own rules like in RCT3

I was expecting challenge mode to be simply as;
- select a biome
- select difficulty

and then it would be just like sandbox but with money. Instead each biome comes with their own set of $$ and limitations. I can't take out loans in the deciduous biome and it has a harder starting cash than the others.

Oh jeez. I was relieved when I heard about challenge mode, but I didn't know it was like that. I would kill to be able to toggle on limited starting cash and an empty research when making a sandbox map. I need, need, need to have that progression in the majority of my playthroughs and would be a little bummed if I can't play in the sandbox the way I'd like.

People actually use the loans? I'm up to like 400k in my challenge park and never touched them. Never changed prices for any rides either

You can save your challenge park and then open it in Sandbox mode, not sure if you can switch back but it would allow you to build a few rides and buildings before going into challenge mode fully.

I strongly support this. I was hoping for a scenerio editor like in RCT3.
That´s the way I mainly played the game. Lay the groundwork of a small park with an entrance area and terrain editing with unlimited money. Then turn it into a scenario and start playing with all financial and management aspects.

I´d really miss something if we can´t do that... [where is it]

This is EXACTLY how I played RCT3 100% of the time! Unlimited money to build recreations like Cedar Point. Then use money limitations to actually run the park!

When you start out with $2,000, two flat rides and on hard, yeah I'd like to take out a loan. [tongue]

+1. I wanted to do a challenge-type game (basically sandbox but limited money and hardly anything researched) and the starting point for like the plains on hard is exactly what I want. Except why can't I take out loans?? I've found it extremely difficult to stay afloat.

Loans should be available and interest rates should tie to the difficulty level you selected.
