Sandbox with everything unlocked

Still hope we eventually get an option to unlock all for sandbox mode, specially since you have to unlock certain things on hard difficulty
Can't say for others but for me sandbox (aka creative) mode in any game ends up with the following results:
  • i played couple of hours in total
  • i never return to the game because there's nothing to do

Depends on what you want to do offcourse, lots of people just like to build the most beautifull awesome parks with as many differemt dino's but in order for that to work those people are forced into modes they are not remotely interested in, it was a discussion back on reddit and discord with many content creators and they all said the same we would love an unlock all option for just sandbox, if we want more things to do we can always either customize sandbox and make it challenging or play a different mode

I have asked for and received a refund on Xbox Series X, will keep it for PC because I can use mods and trainers there to unlock everything but damn its terrible and painfull and its also my first ever refund.

I haven't bought the game yet even though it looks great, and this is why. I've never liked having to do campaigns to unlock things. It isn't fun for me. If there was a sandbox mode with everything unlocked (or at least an easier way to unlock everything) then I would have bought the game already. There shouldn't be anything that has to be unlocked by doing hard mode.

I can already see that a mod that unlocks everything from the start is going to be very, very popular.

Either a mod or a saved game from someone that unlocked it all, one way or another I hope. For me PC will be the way to go, tried it on Xbox but after 3 hours doing a challenge on easy mode and finally reaching 5 stars and hardly unlocking anything I decided to just get a refund on Xbox and now I will just wait until I can either download a save with all unlocked or when there is a mod or a trainer or something to unlock it all so I can jump into sandbox mode.

I like having unlocks in games.
I also enjoy sandboxes.
But at the end of the day this game is a park management sim first.
The playspaces where you can smash all the toys you've collected together however you wish, is the reward after earning it. The unlocks is incentive to get you to actually PLAY the game instead of fooling around in one mode the entire time because they know a lot of people will do just that without seeing anything else. But allowing you to access a simpler version of that sandbox at any time while you earn the new toys.

In my honest opinion, they are doing you a favor by actually making you experience the entire product so you dont waste 60 whole dollars on just 25% of it's total content.

This is seriously the most annoying thing ever in a Frontier game, Forced to play Chaos mode and Challenge mode to unlock the damn dino's, really guys just add a unlock all option. Us Sandbox mode diehards and same for content creators would love to just jump into our favorite mode and build our dream parks not having to go in different modes and do this and that for hours just to unlock stuff, this is not what sandbox should be at all. Now we are forced to wait for mods, trainers and save games in order to unlock it all so we can finally enjoy the mode we sandbox lovers love.

But what's the point in forcing people to play a mode, when they already payed for the game? Frontier got what they came for. No reason to neglect their sandbox audience. I will not buy the game for this reason alone. At least not full price. So they just missed extra revenue by making this decision.

In the previous game we could unlock everything but individual skins in the campaign but we can't in this game. Many cosmetic skins of whole family trees are locked behind medium and hard mode.

I support a unlock of everything in sandbox but I will also gladly accept having all maps and cosmetic skins unlocked in challenge easy mode too. It isnt that I don't want to play the game to unlock things, but this time around we are being forced to play medium and hard modes when we didn't before.

I wish they had an unlock all option in sandbox mode too, I don't have the time these days to spend hours unlocking everything to even make a very basic park in sandbox, in the last one I'd hop between doing missions and then just having some downtime in my sandbox maps watching the dinosaurs and building up my park.

I highly doubt this is ever going to be in the game. This has been suggested 100s of times since the very start when they added sandbox mode to the original game. Clearly the devs know about this feedback.
But this sequel doesn't have the feature despite some people asking for it. If they planned to have such a fundamental change in how the game is played, they would have added it already. It's clear the devs (or the publisher perhaps) wants players to play the "main" modes instead of going straight to sandbox.

Therefore it's highly unlikely that they'll ever add the option to just unlock everything right away for sandbox and "skip" the actual game.

Still hoping for an update that will unlock everything for sandbox mode such as the different locations without the need to play other modes.
