Most software project delays are precisely for this reason, though usually never stated as such.

Well, sort of. My experience has been that delays seldom or never happen in order to add in new features. Those are considered "Phase 2". But plenty of delays have happened because previously-approved features took longer than expected and are still not production-ready.
exactly that. bugfixing and leaving features out that can't be fixed. but "customers are loosing patience, testing and fixing is planned, hey let's add something new!"

"Brick" would be a bonus!
My personal preference is for the brick, but I feel the Lakolphin would be more appropriate as a pancake.
I think the real question is: Will it have only 3 spoilers or will there be one on every side?
It’d have all the spoilers because you can never have too many, and drives that sound like a flatulent pulsejet and go BWWWOOOOOOM when you boost. For that extra Lakon touch the cockpit should look like it doubles up as a tool shed and workbench.
You forgot the most important part of the cockpit - the Commander's chair needs to be as far left as physically possible, with multiple windscreen struts in their field of view.
As long as the canopy is the size of a greenhouse, surrounded by shot traps and made of eggshells.
there needs to be a single chair in the middle of a football field to represent the cockpit too, just to keep the Saud Kruger vibe going, but remember the chair needs to look hideous and be basic unlike the exterior.
The empire get nice sexy chairs, but SK get lakon knock offs already, cant be changing that.
There prob won't be full interiors, maybe just the ones for the canopys/cockpits. They could certainly polish that and at least give us a neel Armstrong feeling of immersion.
