Save data corrupted and can’t load in

I was playing as normal and then while jumping I crashed. Upon restarting it told me the save data was corrupt and it would need to start a new profile. I pressed cancel and it put me to the main menu, now whenever I try to load in it will show me the loading screen of my ship for a second or two then crash. Please help.

It's a bug that's affecting alot of us, me included. Head over to the bug forum and add your report to a huge thread there. Also with regards to the save data its not your commander just local settings of the game like key bindings.

Contact @Frontier_Help on twitter, they should be able to help. You should be able to safely delete your local save data as everything to do with your CMDR is stored on Frontier's servers, but don't do that before checking with Frontier Support.

I had this problem a couple times. Got dropped from the game with no notification a couole times. Then i got the error code and a corrupt file notification. I knew that the save file was just key bindings so i deleted the file. Been back on without a hitch since. Idk maybe im just lucky?

Same problem here, even after re-initialising my ps4 I can't log in. Sent a ticket yesterday, but no reply until now. I hope this issue will get solved soon.

Or not Posted on twitter on Saturday and had no response all day then at 10:50pm they reply with " please post this FRUSTRATING bug in our bug report forum they will be able to help you there" well no they have not and just for information this bug is not "frustrating" its game breaking and for some it even turned the ps4 off..

Servers were down for a couple of hours yesterday thousands of players jumped on discord to vent and Fdevs all over it "sorry this sorry that" but what about the people on her (probably in the thousands) that cant even load the game up, spare a thought for us Devs!!!

Yer the same bug affects me :( sent a ticket in but heard all they do is move your ship to a safe system but it's still prone to happening again :/

We need some feedback from the devs on this asap as this is affecting more and more cmdrs everyday and fdev will be off on their hols soon leaving a broken update and frustrated cmdrs over the festive period without a working game :/

This bug has affected me all weekend. That's cool, I'll just refrain from buying any cosmetic stuff and DLC until Frontier fixes its stuff

I was able to log into my main account but I'm leery of doing anything.
My alt account is still borked so I sent a request on twitter to have that Cmdr moved...

Quite unfortunate.

Still waiting as well.

I started having crash loop issues on Saturday. Submitted a ticket and still haven’t heard back other than a confirmation that they received my ticket.

I’m beginning to think that the devs have no idea how to actually fix the problem.

Be careful advising this. Emphasise LOCAL Save data is not clearing it through the Elite Dangerous menu itself!
