Okay, I'm trying not freak out but my Zoo Kelbrook City Zoo won't launch. I have no mods and I just saved the game normally. I have already made a ticket with support and hoping to hear back soon but I wondered if anyone has the same problem since the new update or know how to fix this?
What happens? Does it just dont load? Crash?

I do have a backup save but I've built a huge section since then so I will lose a lot of progress
I've just had a look and no, I don't have a backup save like I thought.

Likely have to wait until a patch update fixes this issue, gift shops are breaking save files for a lot of people.
Yes I did three to be exact
I know this will sound crazy but it is a slight relief to see that other people are having this problem too as it makes me hope it is fixable
the same things is happening to me, I have sent my save file over to support so hopefully they can try and fix it
An update on my situation, sadly my zoo file was corrupted and the support team said that it can't be restored. I am angry at myself for not having any backup saves. so if you don't have any yourself then please make some!
On the other hand, I still have my screenshots of that zoo so I can rebuild it any time I want if I want to with some improvements and possibly more details. But I think I am going to have a long break before I play the game again ^^'

I am having same exact issue in my zoo where I added a souvenir shop. I was able to find an older save file and played in that last night but now when I open that file it also crashes and it does not have the new souvenir shop

We have been noticing some of these cases have some commonalities within them, and we are investigating these as a priority. It may be in a future update, we fix this and get things working again, so you can load into this park with ease.
I know this isn't a certainly and I do not dare to get my hopes up that my zoo can be saved. But it is some sort of comfort to know they are looking into it.
It is odd that you can't load you zoo through from a backup save. Maybe it is the update itself? But, usually that works. Did you experience anything when the game crashed? For example a blue screen or your device shutting off?
I guess all we can do is wait for the next up date like Captain Callum said.
