Saving loadouts for easy change

First post to the forums, apologies if it's in the wrong spot.

Went digging to see if this was posted anywhere else and I could not find it on the forums. I was hoping to submit a feature request for saving different loadouts for ships. I have my Python set up as a mining ship and I have all the modules to swap to combat if I want to go out and do that. What would be REALLY nice, is once docked I can click a button that strips my ship and replaces it with the modules from a saved loadout that I have created.

Don't know if this is a popular idea or not but would make it very convenient to say the least.

Well that's strange since it has been suggested about 400 billion times.
Oh lookie here:

Welcome BTW..

Thanks X, appreciate the welcome. I didn't even see that posting at all in my search.

If it is such a highly requested item, why not implement it?

That my friend is a very good question. But if you stick around long enough
and browse the other fine suggestions, you will be amazed at how many
excellent ideas are being ignored. :(

It's the mining cash cow problem. Fdev prolly thinks it a waste to implement since everyone that's played more than a week can afford to just outfit a dedicated ship. They assume everyone mines.
Which leads us to the need for more module storage, and to the there being a better way to organize stored modules, as well as the ability to transfer them directly from locally stored ships.

Just checked, I have 3 cutters. One for combat and two armed miners, one for laser, and one for core/SSD.

Keep the grind alive!
