Hi all!

One year ago I started streaming for fun on Twitch and during this year I've received lots of help and support in many different shapes and forms from a lot of people. So to celebrate my channel's birthday, I decided to give back and make a 24 hour charity stream for SpecialEffect.

The stream will run from 17:00, 21st August -- 17:00, 22nd August on my Twitch channel (all times in BST)

(Sorry I can't remove this preview for some reason)

SpecialEffect really need no intro on these forums, but if anyone doesn't know them - they, to quote their website, put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games. By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control (!), they're finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities. They are amazing and they do truly amazing things.

I wanted to somehow support SpecialEffect for literally years now and an opportunity has finally arisen! I will be collecting money for them via a Just Giving page while streaming for 24 hours straight - with some food breaks of course. But I won't be just playing games! I want to do something more, so I have invited some guests too!
  • Baz Floyd - the man behind SpecialEffect will tell us why it's "everyone's turn to play video games"!
  • Allen Stroud - the author of the official ED novel "Lave Revolution", as well as the man behind Lavecon and at the same time - a storywriter for Julian Gollop's Phoenix Point - will tell us how a process of writing a story for a game differs to writing a book.
  • Paul Crowther & Arthur Tolmie - two (technically) new Community Managers for Elite Dangerous will chat to me about Elite and we'll have SRV jumping contest too!
  • Cmdrs Ozric i Alec Turner from the Buckyball Racing Club will give me some tips on how to improve my racing times
Apart from that there will be some other attractions, games to win, fun challenges and giveaways, including 5 unique, SpecialEffect-inspired paintjob+decal packs! You can't get them in any other way! I hope you can all join me and support this great cause!

NOTE! I stream primarily in Polish and that's where the majority of my viewers hail from, however the stream will be mostly in English with some Polish segments. It's all described in the stream schedule HERE.

Excellent, great cause - I'll be there as much as I can be.

Good Luck

That's a lovely thing to do for a fantastic charity.

Good luck in raising awareness and buckets of dosh, well done!

Thank you all so so much for all the help and support! The result is absolutely amazing, for an unknown, Polish streamer with 12 viewers on average over 1 year.

The community is truly amazing and I am blessed to be part of it. Also, massive thanks to FDEV for providing me with 5 SE paintjobs - as those are unique and cannot be purchased.

Thanks again to everyone who's supported me and SpecialEffect, you are all superstars!
