SC & Pips

Hi,

Possibly not the correct forum to post this, but seeing as I'm currently out there exploring and it's partly related I thought I'd ask here.

Whilst in SC you're still able to adjust the Pips, question is, does this have any effect whilst you're in SC?

For example, if I put ENG to Full, does it help?

confirming this, I shut mine off as well, and its why I carry an extremely lightweight PD and replace it when I get back.

When turned off, my understanding is that they still work, you just have no control over them. So set them to a sensible emergency level before turning off.

This is correct. Your shields still recharge, your boost cap still recharges, and your weapon cap still recharges, even with the distributor offline. The only thing you lose is the ability to change pips.

I believe the only thing the pips may effect when in SC is the recharge of the shields.
