If you want to be fair...
SC started off with more expensive backing options (i'm into it for $350, myself, opposed to the $150 in ED)
I bought a ship with 'Lifetime insurance' that was a limited offer (i.e., but this ship now because it will not be allowed after x date, and you will be rewarded as being amongst the few who have it)
SC's:
Started well before ED.
Missed every deadline.
Failed to deliver on the original idea (the concept is now EXCEPTIONALLY different)
Changed the contents of the 'package that was already paid for'.
Started reselling the ships that were 'exclusive purchase now before they're gone'
And are almost a year and a half behind delivering on what they promised.
All of this with over 45 million in the bank?
Compared to ED, SC's motivations are completely different.
I am incredibly pleased with ED's steady progress, promises of delivery, and THE ACTUAL DEVELOPERS RESPOND IN THE FORUMS TO THE ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO ARE PAYING FOR THE GAME.
As opposed to a team of PR reps hired to keep the PRIVATE ACCESS SC ONLY forums clear of any 'questions regarding missed delivery'.
SC and ED are two different games that have alot to thank each other for over the course of the years to get them here.
I love both universes equally.
I'm sure i'll enjoy SC when i can jump to... Errr... If i can explore... Uhhh, maybe go bounty... Ahhh. I can in-game voice comms with... Err, i can configure my...
And SC has *HOW MANY PEOPLE WORKING ON IT*
But i'll stick with ED, because I trust them based on their actions, delivery, and interaction with *US*.
Thanks everyone, /RANT:OFF
Snuggs...
P.S. Play what you want, every game is good, but i have 'invested' in both and am entitled to my opinion, and based on the effort i put in to stay in the SC universe, i've not received the return of 'fun' that i have with ED.
P.P.S. Your opinion may vary, and you're very well entitled to it!
