Scaling & Thememakers Toolkit

Scaling in general needs to be expanded upon. We should be given the ability to scale objects much smaller than what is currently allowed (unrestricted would be nice but down to 1% would be preferred). Scaling should also be made available for "All" objects in the game. There are so many items (especially roof pieces) that cannot be scaled at all. Also, give us the ability to scale based on each axis. This would allow us to contort/custom make objects to fit relative size windows for custom object designing.

That said, we need to know if the Thememaker's Toolkit from PlanCo1 will be coming to the game down the line. We need to have the ability to make 3d models and import custom assets into the game again. Obviously, this will create a divide from Console and PC platforms, but custom content has been a backbone to the creative freedom we have had previously in PlanCo1.

Please give us some feedback with regards to these two issues in the future. Thanks!
 
I completely agree with having the option to add custom content to the game. In PlanCo1, many of my creations utilized TMTK, which allowed me to incorporate 3D models from Blender. This made it possible to create virtually anything in the game, including recreations of Disney rides. I hope the developers bring this feature back for PC players in the future.
 
Agree with those. ...Scaling for grid objects would have to work differently, though, so this is probably more of a long term idea.
But scaling animatronics/moving objects? That should already be in the game. Come on, devs, I think you're doing a banging job overall, but why can't I scale up my Fish Beastie or my sci-fi "Dog walker's" head?! In all 3D engines in existence, scaling is one of the most basic operations, so we are just being artificially restricted for no reason, there.
 
Scaling of all objects to 5% and up to 500%! Would be an absolute game changer and pretty easy to implement. (There is a mod that allows it already)
Perhaps put it behind an option to turn "unlimited scaling" on and off in the game menu would be a good way for Frontier to manage it?

TMTK will come at the end of the development lifecycle. Kind of hard to sell DLCs if people can just make the items and post them for free.
 
I would absolutely love to have a toggle in the menu to turn off the default scaling limitations. I don't mind using the mod but obviously it would be preferable for all if that was just built into the game and we could easily share builds on the workshop etc.
