Scan data point

Hi unable to scan data point, looked it and yes fire button is set to deploy weapons if its active or inactive firing my data scanner does nothing even though key is bound? any ideas?

Check the SRV firegroups - they has been resetted with some of updates

Hmm, if you checked an even tried swapping - don't know. I don't remember other possible solutions - maybe some new game issue. Relog/restart also doesn't help?
Maybe some other commander will answer.
Also check bug reporting threads.

Maybe try to scan them turret mode. Hit X(default) to switch to turret, target data point, left bumper.

I've had issues that seemingly depend on my location. If I was too close or too far (even though it was still in range to be targeted) it wouldn't work.
I would have to move back and forth a bit to find the "sweet spot".

The mechanic has been glitchy for me since inception.
