Scavenging Dead Titans for Drives and Loot

Can confirm - collected ~2 MCr. yesterday evening when trying out my new Type-8.

Oh, and a suggestion for all Type-8 miners: get an engineered PD. 4 small mining lasers suck power like a 70's floor lamp.
Better to pick a ship suitable for optimal mining, like the Python, before investing engineering materials.

Got 2 today in less than an hour

They must have fixed something...
RNG is RNG, given how rare they are you can get none in 2 hours or 2 in less than an hour.

I went to a Titan to collect propulsion elements as I already had 3 TDC's and found 3 more TDCs in the time it took to get the required materials. I then went to Jameson's for encoded data and got blown up by a pirate who followed me down to Jameson's Crash Site and lost all 6 TDCs. Moral of the story, if you don't have a Fleet Carrier make sure you have all other mats first before collecting the TDC.

Was getting them pretty regularly

and now it seems like they "fixed" something again last update

and poof - they're gone

haven't seen one since 3.2 update

Just been there and found 2 TDCs within 40 min, which seems normal from what I've experienced.
I've been at Titan-wreckage Cocijo in the Sol System, I believe that's the last Titan that was destroyed. (I just started playing ED, when the thargoid war was in it's last month or so, wasn't focusing on thargoids at the time.)

You are using the left hand panel to scan the contacts list for TDC'S while flying around?

Came back to Cocijo to get one, found it after 5 minutes. Then I enjoyed shooting some of the pirates in my Corsair and came across two further only seconds apart.

I may be wrong, but somehow I got the impression that the large Titan wreckage pieces had moved closer together since the last visit…🤔
