And two tie the two threads together Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton were in Beauty and the Beast together in the 80s.

Ron was also in a Stella Artois advert.

New Star Trek tonight, in 3d, at the local rat house, but its good viewing and about 1/4 the price of the big cinemas, and food is also about 1/4 the price, and its walking distance rather than 30 min drive each way.

Love that Dredd fan movie :)

Check this out... new movie, Europa Report, with District 9 actor Sharlto Copley. Modern take on Clarke's 2001?! Looks awesome if you ask me.

I just watched this. I really enjoyed it, stylistically refreshing as well as a good film. Paced more along the lines of 2001 than.. say... I dunnno, Fifth Element.
No spoilers from me. I am restraining myself.

The Arnie ones in the first two films were T800, Cyberdyne Systems model 101. The polymimetic alloy Terminator from the second film was a T1000. The Arnie one in the third film was a T850, though it stated it was a T101 for no sensibly explained reason. The consensus seems to be that the T number indicates the hardware revision, while the model number indicates the outer shell's physical template (101 looking like an Austrian bodybuilder).

Watch this for info on where the 101 came from.
