Once upon a time, when screen shots were made they named them with the date and time, giving them a unique name. At some point they changed to be strictly numeric and based on what is already in the screen shot folder. I think the previous method was better in a lot of ways. Perhaps we could even get some preferences set up in the graphics options so we can pick different methods, maybe even mix them a bit? I'd love to see the ability to choose date, time, current system, and/or commander in the name of the shot, and be able to mix them as I see fit.
Oh, and how about some different file formats too? Is BMP just a performance thing? I'd be glad to take a slight slowdown in processing if it meant I could get PNG or JPG as a result.
