Just started Elite Dangerous this week.. Really awesome game by the way. I actually built my gaming system for this game. (cant beat AMD gaming :D ) . Question. At the beginning of the game load screen is your ship turning. Is it possible to get this in an automated screen saver? :cool:

Not sure if the ship video is still around - it was an avi in Alpha/Beta, but it might be a properly rendered model now.

If you want the spinny station + planet loading screen one, look in the ED program directory in the movies folder, convert the webm video to something more useful (avi) etc, and use a tool to use that as your screensaver (there are several around but watch for malware).

Just use some basic screen capture/edit software to record the clip of the ship spinning and cut it together, then set as screensaver

You could do that by using Slopey's idea of converting the WEBM -> AVI -> SCR. Do you only have the ships you fly, I wonder? Possibly might check that out over the weekend.
