Screenshots not saving

I used to take a few screenshots and they saved OK in pictures/Frontier Dev/Elite Dangerous
but now I cannot find them - they don't save to the same location anymore.
I know i took teh screenshot in game - saw the percentage count go up for the solo/HD pictures
but I can't find them anymore...
Anyone know where i might look for 'em?

The normal path for PC is:
C:\Users\<username>\Pictures\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous

Other than that really make sure there is nothing else bound to the F10 key.

Thanks. Hmm, can't see anything else bound to F10, no. And, as I say, have taken a fair few screenies in my time.
Odd. I'll keep looking. :)

Have you installed a new anti-virus that prevents access to your pictures directories by "unauthorised" applications ?

Yes it was the ruddy antivirus-whatsit!

An update must've changed so it wouldn't allow the pictures to save.

If you're running Win10, get rid of that AV stuff. Windows Defender is now good enough - recently, it has been tested as en par with most of the usual suspects (the others were worse).

Glad that sorted it. I had exactly the same problem last year - and then uninstalled the AV, leaving just Defender.
Pity the AV (AVG) didn't give a warning that something was trying to write to pictures. That would have solved the problem immediately.

I looked everywhere and still cant find the directory, hell i even selected hidden directories and still nothing
also did a search of my entire computer and the only highres pics i found where from like 2-3 years ago, thats it
