Screenshots resolution in VR

Hey there, is there any way to get HD screenshots (or any way... Screenshots with specific resolution) while using VR ?

I am an explorer and I enjoy taking pictures of my trips, and I also can't do anymore ED without my Vive, so I'd like to know if there is any way to get the best from the 2 without compromises...

When you change the resolution in the options I think that changes the resolution for the mirrored window on the monitor

If you're in Solo, you should still be able to take hi-res screen shots (I think Alt-F10 is the default - at work and can't check).

As Han said - you can change the resolution of the monitor window to 1920x1080 or whatever your monitor runs at for a regular screenshot too.

My screenshots from VR still look very poor even if the preview windows on the monitor is set to 1080p... Any screen shots taken in VR look terrible at the moment.

Yup, antialiasing is missing completely. A feature to get a centered 1920 x 1080 at maxed setting would be pretty nice. Before VR i documented my journey, so friends could follow it on facebook, but currently it is not possible, due to the auality.

Have you tried the standard Hi-Res screenshot function ?

Alt+F10 just seems to cap lowres pic where every pixel has been doubled. No antialiasing at all. Only thing that might work is adding a noise filter then shrinking the image but that's a lot of mucking about for a screenie that prolly still won't look very good at the end.

Sadly this is true. My monitor is a 21:9 3440x1440 resolution device. I changed the mirror screen to that resolution. Screenshots look absolutely crappy because it is simply upscaled. I)t is an aliaised mess. If i try ALT+F10 the game simply crashes. IT's a real shame because i saw some stunning visuals while being out there exploring thousands of lightyears from the bubble. I refuse to play on the flat screen only to take some screenshots though.

I tried everything and made a thread here but I found no solution for this.
