ok, so I am trying to complete this mission, but I am having trouble. It says release denchy with aggressive instincts 2.0. I have already researched aggressive instincts 3.0, overwriting this upgrade. The mission does not trigger when i release Denchy with 3.0, but i cannot apply 2.0 beacause 3.0 overwrote it. Is there some way to downgrade, or is this a glitch?

you must have the genes, check your genome list and activate that box. in my case I can choose between versions 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0
I recommend you once the mission advances and your dinosaurs are happy (incuba minimum 3 deinos to complete your happiness first), you will have to deal with them under the bar of happiness, and I recommend that you make three circular fences and when you get to this part of the mission, place the Diplodocus and the Deino in the distance in those fences, as they will try to escape. Complete the 3 minutes and you're done with the mission, you can do whatever you want with those dinosaurs.

Why do you think you need v2, I thought it was just the Gene you needed, not the particular version
Different mission, but I assume they are similar - no version numbers:
it definitly specifies 2.0, and does not trigger with 2.0. I see no option to downgrade. If this is some menu I am unaware of, please send a screenshot so i can figure it out. Thanks!
typo, it is 2.0 and does not trigger with 3.0
Sounds like you should raise it as a bug, since at least some of us went straight through that mission with no issues - good luck!

I was really hoping to not do that, I would lose a lot of progress. Could someone share their save with stuff unlocked maby? I am definitly thinking this is a glitch
