Secret Message, or Random Crater Generator?

So after a long absence I decided to return to my meandering exploration ways and have been slowly working my way corewards. Along the way I found a moon with some odd crater paterns. It almost looks like it could be morse, or maybe binary? Then again it could just be the random crater generator But I thought I would share it in the rare chance that it might be "Something"

My current Asp set up is absent an SRV, but I did fly down to take a closer look and did not see anything out of the ordinary on this particular moon, just craters, in neat straight lines...

That is odd! Craters occurring in lines is a Real Thing but I don't remember seeing any regular sets like that in game before.

I've seen something similar once before. The planet with Prof. Palin's base on is like that on the reverse side.

It certainly looks like you should be able to 'join the dots' though

Yup, I've seen something very similar on a few occasions...usually they're nicely random but on rare occasions they seems to line up in seemingly non-random ways

When you can random something into a straight line, then you know it is truly random. Nice find
