Secret Name reporting in - systems with description

I made a habit of honking system and looking on system map whenever i travel.
I came across system 'Ruchbah' ~(-80; -4;-60).

There is a description of this system, and there is no info on the wiki.
I found some other systems in this sector with descriptions about elite pilots or "something happened here but locals won't talk about it'.
AFAIK system description can be added by FDevs or minor player factions.

Is there a way outside of eddb to check if system description is related to a player faction?
Was there any resolved mystery linked to a system description?

Some system descriptions were edited or added to when a player minor faction was added to the system. Others have always had strange system descriptions. There's no real way of telling the difference, if the description is vague. The ones that babble on about such-n-such being formed by a group of Elite or Independent Plots are all PMF fluff.

In this case, Ruchbah is the home system of a PMF called "Manic Preachers", so it's probably their system description. Trivia: Ruchbah is a real-world star, more usually known as Delta Cassiopeiae.

As for other system descriptions leading to plots, stories or mysteries - not really. Some system descriptions have always had some lore to them (home systems for various corporations or homeworlds of various galactic characters). Yet going there never revealed anything unique or interactable. We don't know if it was FD's intention of making these places in any way "special", or if they were always intended to be just fluff.

Example: the Cegreeth system description states it is the headquarters for the Manticore Munitions corporation, and a faction by that name is indeed based there. This is an FDev-inserted faction, not a player faction; Manticore produce several of the weapons in-game and their brand appears stamped on numerous weapon modules. Yet, becoming Allied with that faction does not offer any discounts on weapons, early access to special prototypes, sweet lucrative missions to carry bulk weapons, or anything else that one might expect from becoming Allied to a major weapons manufactuer. They're "just another faction" in that respect.

Thanks for response.
There is also a possibility that faction may give some unique tip off.
(after you are allied and over-build your reputation you reliably get tip-offs - tesed by me)

Faction tip-offs drop more or less at random, in my experience. I've received one from a faction I was attacking in a war at the time, so was slightly less than default Neutral reputation with them. That was some time ago, they may have tweaked the drop algorithms.

I get tip-offs right after finishing missions and overearning reputation with a given faction.
Didn't test if can get more than one tip-off from one faction, though.

There is mechanics that drops tip-offs at random, and building reputation probably increases that chance.
Just my guess.

ninja edit

I also have a hunch that tip-offs point us to interesting places.
Today i got a tip-off that pointed me to pleiades full of non-human signal sources, tharogid barnacles and tourist beacon.

I wouldn't even look in that place myself.
