Security

In earlier games I never used security. I thought it would be better using their salary for janitor instead (with good path routing), cleaning up the path. It is usually the filthy path that will trigger the vandalism.

If water-rides + pools will be included in this game, I would love to see realistic Lifeguards as well.

Don't expect pools in the base-game; they will most likely be in a waterpark expansion pack [big grin]

Yep.
In fact, John said its better to not expect a large number of water rides like soaked brought to the table (they wanted a smaller number and get them all right). We are probably getting the vanilla RCT water rides with maybe some important additions.
If they are working on realistic ater physics for them, I understand the number being smaller and then add them with expansions, pools and slides included.

I really hope they work on a better rendition of the water rapid rides. Thats something RCT always got iffy (apart from the real one in Soaked, where the station was still wrong).

Yes! I think we can add 【thief】【litter guy】【robber】 to let our park not safe and the public security can protect our park

Not that anyone gets overly excited to see park security I still hope that security has a much larger role than all previous games in the genre...I'm assuming it does since it was teased in the first Dev Diary!!

What role do you hope/suggest that security play in Planet Coaster?
I don't want security like this. Look at Disney have you ever a security member? NO! The security looks like normal people and if someone is naughty they pick hem up as quick as possible bring him in to a shop and put hem in to the Disney cell. Yes, there is a Disney cell in Disney parks. I know there is one in Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

It's better for the realism yes, but I dont think we need "security guards who look like normal people". It's not "visual" !

I think the gameplay should ALWAYS take precedence over realism, and it's clearly more interesting to see the security all over your park (and see their animations)
The absolute realism in a game is not necessarily the best choice.

+1 [up]

My local park has an armed security force, and their main job is to patrol the park and eject troublemakers. Like if you line jump, shoplift from a shop, break any park rule, enter restricted areas, or do anything that could affect other guests or make them feel uncomfortable (such as hitting on teenage girls) those actions can get you booted out of the park real quick or even arrested by regular police on the outside. Usually what happens is when a person does something bad, a park employee will radio or call security and security officers will show up and apprehend the person and escort them to the security office. Then, the paperwork will be filed, and the person will be either escorted to the park exit, or held for police to arrest the person and transport to jail depending on the severity of the offense. Also, if you try to enter the park without paying or rub someone's handstamp on you to gain entry, you can be arrested. Parks can also ban a person from returning to the park for a period of time, such as the rest of the season. If a person attempts to return during the ban period, they will be arrested for trespassing. Stores such as Walmart do that to shoplifters, too, ban them from the store for a period of time or life.
