Seeking out an Alliance/Squadron to Join. Any Suggestions?

Hi folks,

I've been playing for a bit and decided its about time I joined in with a squardon. This is sort of what I'm looking for:

  • Fairly active, with events on a semi regular basis
  • Good community of friendly folk that play together
  • UK time zone (although NA time zone is also helpful as I'm over that way regularly)
  • So far I've enjoyed most parts of the game, but happy to explore, trade, mine, PvE, (and maybe PvP if I get any good at combat)
  • I do RP, so any RP is probably fine with me (nice to have but not a requirement).
Any suggestions are welcome.

As DNA-Decay said you cant go wrong with alliance groups all have their special perks and fun time to play with.
We are one of Alliance Joint Navy members 1st TCTF Joint Squadron, which doesnt have one single focus but likes to spread its activities into multiple variety that game is offering like: BGS, AX activities, roleplay, pvp against pirates and gankers, mentoring new commanders because we are based near and in starter area Eranin. We have BGS in very high traffic systems so there is lots of things revolving and feels very alive.

Greetings Cmdr,

Octavian Vanguard are a recently established Imperial squadron (but have been going for a lot longer as an organisation in other games) but growing quickly with now just having passed 10+ members. I think we might be compatible with what you are looking for these reasons:

  • We are a friendly English speaking squadron, majority of our members are from the UK and a few EU TZ
  • We also enjoy most parts of the game, we have our own faction that we promote in BGS, we do a lot of PVE, trade, mine, are anti-Xeno and also powerplay / PVP when the mood suits
  • Objectives based gameplay for both our BGS and Powerplay / PVP goals
  • A good community with mix of well established and newer players, with our old vets happy to mentor / advise / help our newer players
  • A mix of playstyles, some of us are very active, but more casual playstyles also welcome
  • We all play PC/Mac version mostly in open mode
  • Currently most active in evenings and late morning UK/EU TZ

Uh OP was asking about Alliance squads?
Like uh, Mic Turner and Edmund Mahon, and Alioth, and Gateway.
You know - like: "Thargoid Loving Hippies"

It's not very clear if that is what the OP meant to be fair.

Only reference to "Alliance" in their post is in the title and they wrote "Alliance/squadron" with use of "/" making it an either/or statement, I took that to mean they meant an informal alliance of commanders or alliance of squadrons (which do exist) of any faction, as opposed to a single squadron.

Had they instead written "an Alliance squadron" I would have been in less doubt about what they meant.

Although its true he didn't make clear, Nobody wants to join the Empire considering all the leaders of the Empire are secretly working for other factions because they hate how the Empire is doing Powerplay in Private Group more often now.

And for clarification I am a former imperial who had my ways to get information from wherever I needed it, Let him join the Alliance and not another falling Empire forced into In-fighting over pride and foolishness.

Also we were once your allies and from what we seen yeah we are glad we called it off.

Hi there Zapgun,

I'd like to introduce you to the Alliance Rapid-reaction Corps. (ARRC for short)

We are a possibly one of the biggest, small Player Minjor Factions. We are a well established group with a presence in over 20 of the "Old Worlds"
Our base of operations is in our home system of Zaonce, Ridley Scott station.
The home of Admiral Frederick Yamamoto of the Zaonce Fleet who sits on the Alliance Council of Admirals and the Bank of Zaonce.
Our systems include Tionisla where the famous Ships Graveyard is reputed to bear permanent monument to many a brave pilot.

We really don't mind who you are or where you come from. If you want to be our friends and allies then you will be.

A lot of us were here in '84 and as far as game play goes we moslty bimble about engaging in pretty much whatever come to mind.

Our activities include PVE exploration
Power Play
Background Simulation etc.
PVP in a training group called "Fighter Club" (See my signature)
Thagoid hunting in the Pleiades
Racing SLFs in odd and remote locations
Driving SRVs into space stations...

Well you get the idea. Pretty much anything that's fun.
