How long before the console players turn up expecting EDO on consoles? 🤔

Seems like it might be time for fdev to fix the issues stopping people buying ARX if they want more $$$ from ED :)

Although you read one or two cmdrs on YouTube saying 'Star Citizen good, ED bad' the proof is in the community support. All manner of 3rd party web sites and ED web tools being supported by all manner of volunteers.
And if you think there is maybe just a little too much Thargoid at the moment well there's plenty more to do.
If I get a bit Thargoid weary, I just jump in my DBX and go exploring or exo flora hunting.
The game has a great future yet.
Also, if you are using vr headset that is steam vr friendly, then star citizen definitely does not offer the highly satisfying and very immersive experience of sitting in the cockpit of your very own Gutamaya Imperial Cutter.

Good news on two fronts, ED will contine to be supported and developed.

The devil, as always, is in the detail. Given the not so good news, is it likely ED will be developed at a greater pace or with greater resource than at present?

Those who know, as usual, aren't telling. My guess is it's steady as you go for Frontier.

It's meant to be a positive thread so unsure why doom was even mentioned ??
We could point to the share price being the same as Nov 2013 ? And look what happened after that ?
But as the op stated Fdev have said they will continue to support existing games.
As to the nature of that support ?? Only Fdev knows

From where I'm sitting it sounds like a very positive statement. They are not killing the game, rather they are continuing developing and supporting it. Coming from Frontier that's quite the statement as we're used to absolute silence regarding such things. Think we can put doom aside for now, keeping in mind that such things can change in the future.

Now go buy some ARX everyone! :D

So much this^^ we all love elite that's why we're here. We feel it's desertion and neglect and just wish that the future will bring some of that hundreds strong workforce to bear on the stuff that's needed fixing for years!
